»The Room«, Fenster’s fourth album and their first release on Altin Village & Mine marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band. After releasing three albums, a feature length film, and touring extensively throughout Europe and North America since 2012, »The Room« serves as an entry point into their sonic evolution. The essential characteristic of the band is transformation—within and between genres, albums, and songs. Their sound is a window framing psychedelic, groovy, hypnogogic, playful pop. Fenster is Elias Hock (Germany), Jonathan Jarzyna (Germany), Lucas Ufo (France) and JJ Weihl (USA).

Once in a while you stumble upon a band that blows you away with such unexpected freshness and brilliance, that you're convinced they'll conquer the world in a matter of weeks. I'm still waiting, but Khruangbin is such a band. Consisting of only three the band makes intimate music that somehow sounds larger than a passing parade. Celebrating life, traveling and good company. With 'White Glove' as a lovely tribute to a deceased feline. Majestic happy little clouds they are. veldusi
Khruanbin is amazing. And this record is another homehitter. It's hard to pick one favourite. I like Cómo Me Quieres, Lady and Man, Rules and Maria También equally as much, the latter maybe because of the poignant videoclip with that song. The thing I do know, is that this magnificent record is best enjoyed on a vinyl record player. veldusi
